Friday in the ER
Transfered to ICU
Transferred to regular floor
Tuesday (today)after bad bloody nose
Tuesday (today) getting blow-by with moisture as sats dropped with nose bleed
Hudson seems to go up and down with this virus....he has needed cpap, blow-by O2, nasal cannula, tons of suctioning....
There is no projected day we will be discharged. He is currently on a nasal cannula with O2 all day and night with the need for more than that at times. His baseline would be room air all day and O2 at bedtime...we need to get back there and stay there. It is believed this double whammy of RSV and Rhinovirus would have been a much bigger hit had he not been on Epi...I don't even want to think how much worse he could be, and am certainly grateful he is doing well considering how hard this is on his body. Seizures are there but not off the charts, which normally they would be. My mom and I have been swapping between hospital and home, and kids. When I came home to "rest" both Hunter and Hailey got hit with a stomach bug...one came home from school and started vomiting and the other began their turn in the middle of the night, vomiting at 3 a.m. So now that I am back at the hospital with Hudson, I may get some rest...as twisted as that is! At least I am not the only "nurse" here!
Please keep little H and all of us in your prayers...I have been so torn between all the kids being sick, and all wanting mommy. To boot....Haileys birthday party is this Friday and I can not disappoint.....8 girls coming to my house for a 4 hour party, and I am not even home this week to prepare....feeling the pressure for sure! Can't wait until this is all behind me and we are all under one roof again.
******TODAY...Wednesday....my LOVE!*********
This blog is dedicated to my son, he is among the strongest, bravest souls I know, fighting the effects of Mitochondrial Disease. Through God's grace,I share our story, one that is lived day to day...some days I am given reasons to rejoice and other days are shattered by the effects of seizures and broken dreams. At the end of the day I give it all to God, and place my precious Hudson in His hands, He who created him.

ICU
I headed to children's E.R. at 2a.m. this morning....
The E.R. landed us in the PICU 4 hours later, for positive swabs for RSV, and Rhinovirus.
Thank you for lifting Hudson in prayer, and his very tired mommy.
