Wish us luck and say some prayers

Last weekend I realized we are coming up on the heels of the 4th of July weekend....time to figure out Vegas...
Everything has come together pretty seamlessly.
As of now, the night before our 6a.m flight, there are still 35ish seats open on the plane. This is the best looking flight for us to get on....so good lookinG in fact...instead of Paul coming home to fly out with Hunter and Hailey, everyone is flying with me...and when I say everyone....I mean....EVERYONE!!! Since the flight, the only flt this week, that has so many seats available,I will have my 3 H's, my mom, Katelyn and Fred.....if we all get on it will be pretty cool....Hudson and I are first priority to get on that direct flight to Las Vegas.

So....as far as luck....it would be really nice if we could be so lucky to get the whole gang on the flight. Luck that whom ever checks us in tomorrow doesn't charge me for all my luggage...I have one giant suitcase, well over 50lbs, with all of our clothes...one carry on size with all things medical, one carry on size with misc. stuff...then there is much luck and prayers needed for my carry on....I have a portable cooler for all his meds (2months worth), diaper bag, and I am carrying on 10 cans of formula among our carry on. No problems needed!!!

Prayer??? This is Hudson's first flight ever...praying it is an easy trip on him, that he handles the plane well and hopefully sleeps through the whole trip (that would be lucky and nice) pray he doesn't pick up any icky germs on the lovely airplane ride...
Praying I have remembered all things Hudson...I have packed and clean for the last 2 days, all day....it is a bit stressful to be responsible for so much, so many, and be the only adult to carry the weight of the whole process...I am thinking confident thoughts...


I am sure we will look like the Beverly Hillbillies driving to the airport...all of us at 4 a.m. In my van...most of the luggage strapped to the luggage rack on top of my car...7 of us crammed in my van...should be quite the sight!

Sooooo looking forward to lying in the sun, doing nada, getting tan, swimming in the pool, having our family together for a few months...

If all goes well, next time you hear from me, it will be in Las Vegas baby!!!!

Oh glory day....

On the heels of having to go through yet another 2nd level appeal, set for next week, regarding denied P.T. visits and hitting our max of 20 a year, I just got the best phone call ever from my husbands benefits dept......she has been working on our behalf to ease the pain of the hell we have been going through to have continued benefits for Hudson.....and she succeeded!!! I am doing the happy dance!!!
She informed me they will be changing the plan in effect for the next benefit calendar year, and Hudson will have a total of 60 P.T. Available a year.......and the next best thing is that I don't have to do the 2nd level teleconference appeal next week because the company is going to make sure all of Hudson's denied pt visits and all his future pt visits that will exceed the 20 before the new plan kicks in will be paid!!! This is the best news for my little H!!!

Not to mention a huge reief for me as I fight and fight for his well being!

Off to call Paul so he can run in her office and give her a big hug from Huds and I!!! :)

Last night I found Hailey quietly sitting on her bed after her bath, all clean in her jammies, writing in her journal.
Today, while the kids were at play dates, I was cleaning their room, and this is what I found.

I had a lump in my throat as I read...

this is what is reads...

"Heel Hudson Lord
Oh hooooo Lord I need you to heel Hudson is so ill.
I realy need you to heel my brother please
heel him. I want him to be healthy.
I'm so sad that he is ill.
Lord I now you have a plane to Hudson.
Lord I love you."
